1Hans De Munck – Chief Executive Officer A.I. and Chief Financial Officer

CAREER:
Hans De Munck
(1973, Belgium) started his career at ING in Belgium (formerly BBL) in 1996 as an analyst in Market Risk Management. He has a wealth of risk management experience, balance sheet management and treasury, both at ING in Belgium and at ING Group. In 2018, Hans De Munck was appointed as Chief Financial Officer of ING in Belgium. As of the 1st of October 2020, he also acts as CEO ad interim.

EDUCATION:
Hans De Munck is a business engineer and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago.

2PHILIPPE WALLEZ - HEAD OF BUSINESS BANKING

CAREER:
Philippe Wallez
(1964, Belgium) began his career in 1989 as product manager at consumer products giant Unilever, where he held various positions in sales and marketing. In 1998, he joined Norsk Hydro Group as General Manager Marketing Europe. In 2000, Philippe Wallez joined ING as Head of the Marketing Intelligence department. He moved to the position of Retail & Private Banking Manager for the region of Namur-Luxembourg-Walloon Brabant in 2003. From 2006 to 2012, he served as General Marketing Manager. In 2012, he was appointed as General Manager Private Banking for ING in Belgium. He joined the Executive Committee as Head of Retail & Private Banking in 2016. As of the 1st of September 2020, Philippe Wallez acts as Head of Business Banking for ING in Belgium.

EDUCATION:
Philippe Wallez holds a degree in Business Engineering from UCLouvain and an MBA from the Western University in Ontario, Canada.

    3FRANK STOCKX - CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER

    CAREER:
    Frank Stockx
    (1969, Belgium) began his career at ING in Belgium (formerly BBL) in 1994. As of 1997 until 2000, he worked on the euro introduction project. In 2001, he became Business Change Director of Service Center Securities & Financial Markets. Between 2004 and 2007, he held various positions in the Netherlands, including in the department Ops & IT Banking. In 2007, Frank Stockx became Head of Domestic Transformation Program at ING in Belgium, where he was subsequently appointed Head of Transformation Office. Frank Stockx was appointed in the Executive Committee of ING in Belgium in 2011, first as Chief Information Officer and then as Chief Operations Officer as of mid-2013.

    EDUCATION:
    Frank Stockx holds a Master in Business Engineering, International Business from KU Leuven. He also obtained an additional degree in International Relations. In 2006, he completed the General Management Program at Insead.

      5ELLEN AELVOET - HEAD OF WHOLESALE BANKING

      CAREER:
      Ellen Aelvoet
      (1974, Belgium) started her career at ING in Belgium (formerly BBL) as a management trainee in 1997 with a first role in Risk Management. Between 2008 and 2016, she held several senior management positions such as Head of Domestic Sales within Financial Markets, or as Head of Public Sector & Social Profit defining and implementing its commercial strategy. From 2016 to 2020, she was in charge of the commercial activities of the Mid Corporates and Institutionals for the region of Antwerp-Limburg-Leuven. On the 1st of January 2020, Ellen Aelvoet joined the Executive Committee as Head of Wholesale Banking for ING in Belgium.

      Ellen Aelvoet holds a Master’s degree Economics from the University of Namur (FUNDP) and studied both in Belgium and abroad.

      6Gordana Hulina - chief risk officer

      CAREER:
      Gordana Hulina (Croatia, 1965) started her career at ING in 1994 as a credit analyst in the Netherlands. She has a vast experience in various risk related areas and worked across the globe. She took on risk management positions in Bulgaria, Russia, South Korea and Ukraine. From 2016 to 2020, she headed credit risk in Turkey being responsible for Retail, SME, Mid Corp and Corporate Credit Risk and she was a member of the Executive Management Board at ING Bank Turkey. On the 15th of January 2020, Gordana Hulina joined the Executive Committee as Chief Risk Officer for ING in Belgium.

      Gordana Hulina holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration of the Erasmus University and studied both in The Netherlands and Croatia.

      7SALI SALIESKI - HEAD OF RETAIL & PRIVATE BANKING

      CAREER:
      Sali Salieski (1982, Macedonia) started his career within ING Wholesale Banking in 2003. Between 2015 and 2017, he played a pivotal role in the expansion of Retail and Wholesale Banking within ING in the Czech Republic as CFO. As of 2017, Sali Salieski led the development of the global financial steering of the COO/CTO domain and the change finance management at ING. Since the 1st of September 2020, Sali Salieski acts as Head of Retail & Private Banking for ING in Belgium.

      EDUCATION:
      Sali Salieski holds a Master’s degree in Finance and (Investment) Banking from the University of Amsterdam and he completed the Program for Leadership at Harvard Business School.
